FPL @ Courtland Center

FPL @ Courtland Center is Now Open!

Welcome Back Patrons!

The Flint Public Library is now open at Courtland Center.

You’ll find our new temporary location at Courtland Center (4190 E. Court St., Burton). Visitors should use the main entrance (Entrance A) and then look for the Library signage just east of Sloan Museum @ Courtland.

Patrons are welcome to spend one hour in FPL@Courtland Center and one hour in the Annex. A mask and social distancing are required.

Sign-up for a library card, renew your card, browse and check out books CDs, DVDs or visit the Children’s Room in the Library located east of Sloan Museum.

Use computers, printers, scanners, fax machine, research genealogy or local history in The Annex located across from Goodwill near the movie entrance.

Check our calendar (see header Join In) for upcoming events.

Our hours at Courtland Center are:

  • Tuesday through Thursday from 11:00am – 7:30pm
  • Friday and Saturday from 9:00am – 5:30pm
  • The Library will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Plenty of free parking is available, and the mall is served by the #10 bus (Richfield Rd.).

Safety is a priority.

Looking for Low-Contact Options?

If you’re looking to spend minimal time in the Library, consider these options.

  • Select items from our online catalog and place them on hold.  Then just come to the Library when those items are ready.  You can pick them up and check them out right at the front lobby.
  • Use your Library Card to download books, audiobooks, magazines, music and more from our website.
  • Request an E-Card from our website that will allow you to download materials.  You can convert your E-Card to a full-service card (allowing checkout) any time you visit the Library. E-Cards are available to anyone in Genesee County through September 30, 2020.
