Learn about your Muslim neighbors!  There will be a short, cultural presentation about the month of Ramadan and the Festival of Eid al-Fitr, more commonly known as EID, at 3pm.  Eid al-Fitr, translated as‎‎ “festival of breaking of the fast”, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan.

Also to share and celebrate with the community there will be:

  • Delicious food to share
  • Story time for children
  • Henna hand painting by a local henna artist
  • Free Hijab scarves, with lessons on tying and wearing the Hijab
