Gyotaku and Water Games

It seems strange to say this but there are only a few summer programs left! If you like anime and manga, you may want to check out Gyotaku: Japanese Fish Painting on Wednesday July 27th at 4:30pm. The art of Gyotaku started as a way for fisherman to record their catch. Come and join us as we create our own unique fish prints. Register here (Teen Summer Program - Gyotaku: Japanese Fish Printing | Flint Public Library (fpl.info)).

To celebrate the end of this year’s summer reading challenge we will be playing water games out on the front lawn of the library. Join us Wednesday August 3rd at 4:30pm (and bring your friends) as we play water balloon volleyball, see how far we can launch a water balloon, and more! Make sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet and bring a towel to dry off with after the games are over!
