If you’re looking to meet new people and read fascinating books about Michigan, then “Booked for Lunch” might just be for you!
“Booked for Lunch” meets the second Thursday of every month from 12:00-1:00pm. You are encouraged to bring and enjoy lunch while hearing from noteworthy Michigan authors as they share the backstory behind their books. We have a different crowd and a unique experience every time! You don’t have to read the book in advance to prepare for discussion like you would for a typical book club. This is more of a chance to learn about Michigan authors and decide if you want to read the book. So whether you can come every month or just occasionally, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn about literature you might not otherwise encounter.
