If you’re looking for stimulating conversations around books about various races, ethnicities and cultures, then this club is perfect for you!
“Fiction Only Book Club” meets the third Wednesday of every month from 12:00-1:00pm. Some people attend more regularly than others but there is no attendance requirement and new members are always welcome. Our librarians curate the reading list and choose a book to read each month. Then a librarian moderates the discussion around the book of the month, and attendees share perspectives on what they have read. If you find it difficult to come to a meeting during the day, don’t worry! You can still get the recommendations and read the books. Just visit fpl.info and search the calendar for Fiction Only Book Club, then click the events to see what the group is reading. The books are available from the Library or you can download an e-book.
