One of the best book podcasts is Well-Read Black Girl which aims to bring readers and writers together. Authors such as Brit Bennet and Jaqueline Woodson chat about what’s on their bookshelves and which writers have influenced their lives and careers.

If you want to  know about the season’s most talked about books, listen to NPR’s Book of the Day podcast, which includes all genres and writing styles This podcast is perfect for short commutes as  most episodes last 15 to 20 minutes.
