September is the month for:
- Library Card signups
- It is the month that celebrates Fall Hats
- and it is part of the month that celebrates Latina/o/e/x and Hispanic Heritage (from September 15 to October 15, we honor the cultures and contributions of people with ancestors from Latin America and Spain). Check out our calendar to learn more about the cultures, the contributions, the languages, and the continuing proud heritage of those whose ancestors are Latina/o/e/x and/or Hispanic. There is music, dance, storytelling, leaders, artists, and so many others! Embrace this celebration of those who help make America marvelous. Saturday, October 22 at 2pm Ballet Folklorico is performing!
- September 18th – September 24th is Banned Books Week. We encourage those who have read a banned book to have conversations around them! For a list of book titles click here
